the sahara is a desert in the nord of africa.

The desert of the Sahara is the biggest desert of the world, with approximately 9.065.000 km ² Has more than 2,5 million years.It borders on these countries: Algeria, Tunis, Morocco, Western Sahara, Mauritania, Níger, Lybia, Egypt and Chad.

Only it has snowed once in the sahara in February 18, 1979 in the part of argelia.
For the desert it is possible to travel in camel, in 4x4 or walking.
